Chamfer bits come in many sizes and angles with or without a bearing at the bottom , made for handheld routers and CNC machines. They are designed to cut a beveled edge, or "chamfer," along the edge of your workpiece, usually wood or metal. They create an angled sloped cut often used for decorative purposes or to remove sharp edges.
