First install a chamfer bit into your router and set the desired depth of cut. Then run the router along the edge of the workpiece, keeping steady pressure and level using a consistent speed for a smooth, angled edge. Sometimes If the workpiece is noy wide enouh I will put another piece of right next to it to give me a wide running space for my router.
