In my shop I say Yes, buying a router is worth it if you do woodworking and some epoxy/ acrylic projects, as it allows you to cut, shape, and finish with precision. It’s a versatile tool that can help you create professional-looking edges, joinery, and decorative details. I have and use a variety of routers including the Palm type in my shop and having a quality router and bits makes the job come out better and the customer ( or your wife) very happy.
