I measure a T-slot size, using a caliper to measure the width of the narrow slot at the top (slot width) and the wider section below (T-width), as well as the depth from the table surface to the bottom of the slot. Using these measurements as the standard for these T-slot dimensions and that helps me identify the correct size for the perfect fit.
