For most standard T-molding installations, a 1/16-inch (approximately 1.6 mm) slot cutter is commonly used to create the groove for the T-molding’s spine. T moulding is used in most arcade games for a clean , smooth finish to the face of the wood edge.Always check the specific T-molding manufacturer’s recommendations, as some types , as they may require a slightly wider or narrower slot for the perfect tight fit. I have used the Amana tool 53400 in my repair and renovating of many arcade games and the slot is perfect for the T mouldings I use.
