The drill size determines what size pilot holes you make affecting the xxxx sizes your using. In my shop I have a wide range which gives me more choices for various woodworking and metalworking tasks. The Amana Tool 20200 uses drills from 3/32" through 9/32", and works with wood xxxx sizes #2 through #18, making it very useful for both small and large projects.Some of the others I use are the Amana Tool 55226 and Amana Tool 55229 for specific drill diameters, which works great when you need it for repeated applications on a job. Having many available options, you can select a countersink or counterbore that matches your most commonly used drill sizes and have your work come out perfect every time .
