For laminate countertops, a flush trim router bit is commonly used to trim the laminate flush with the substrate. Additionally, a chamfer or round-over bit can be used to smooth and shape the countertop edges for a finished look. Make sure to use carbide-tipped bits for durability when working with laminate. In my shop I use Amana tool bits for great and uninterrupted sewrvice . Customers don't want to hear excuses for a bad job because they are paying for and excellent job . Unhappy customers will move on from your shop to the next shop on their list .
