A thin kerf blade typically has a thickness of about 3/32 inch, or approximately 0.094 inches (2.4 mm). This is thinner than standard blades, which are usually 1/8 inch (0.125 inches or 3.2 mm) thick. Thin kerf blades are designed to remove less material and require less power from the saw. Quality blades are the key force in my shop for great outcomes and uninterrupted service . My customers don't want to hear that I need to order another blade and their due date is longer.
