Eight general rules in a woodshop are: always wear safety gear, keep the workspace clean, use tools properly, follow instructions, never rush, check tools before use, keep hands away from blades, and store materials safely. Following these rules helps prevent accidents and ensures a safe working environment. I would add to this get quality tools because they are just better for your safety and the quality of your work , put away 60% of your profit until you can up-grade jsut one tool at a time . Believe me it works and I have done it.
