The number of teeth on a blade affects the quality and speed of the cut. Blades with fewer teeth (like 4T or 14T) are best for fast, rough cuts and demolition, as seen in the Amana Tool NC-820 14T and Timberline 160-04PCD 4T. Blades with more teeth (like 24T, 32T, 40T, or 60T) produce smoother finishes and are better for crosscutting, as with the Timberline 80060 60T and Timberline 175-40B 40T. The wide range of tooth counts allows you to select a blade tailored to your specific application, from fast ripping to fine finish work.
