A "V bit" refers to a type of cutting tool, often used in CNC machines, that has a V-shaped tip for engraving or carving. A "V groove," on the other hand, is the actual V-shaped channel or cut made into a material, typically created using a V bit. In short, the V bit is the tool, and the V groove is the result. I use 60 , 90 and sometimes even a 30 degree bit in my sign making jobs and one thing never changes is I always buy quality bits for uninterrupted service.
