A crosscut blade typically has between 60 and 80 teeth. This higher tooth count allows for smoother, cleaner cuts across the wood grain by removing less material with each pass. The fine teeth help minimize splintering and produce a polished finish. Using the corrct blade for the job at hand is the rule in my shop and I only use the Amana Tools brand because it never fails me and makes my customers happy that they get their job on time or even early.
