Cut-off blades are typically made of high-speed steel (HSS), carbide, or abrasive materials such as aluminum oxide or silicon carbide. The material used depends on the application and the type of material being cut. These blades are designed to withstand high temperatures and maintain sharpness during cutting operations. I have had the best success using the Amana Tools brand for my shop , they carry a large selection of Blades and bits for all my needs.
