The best saw blade for ripping wood is a rip blade with fewer, larger teeth typically 24 to 30 teeth designed to efficiently cut along the wood grain. These blades have deep gullets for fast chip removal and a flat-top grind tooth shape for aggressive, clean cuts. For table saws, a 10-inch, 24-tooth rip blade is commonly recommended and is what I use in my shop . I prefer the Amana Tools brand for the best clean cuts and uninterrupted job completion.
