When ripping wood on a table saw, the good (or finished) side of the board should face up. Always keep the edge you want to keep against the rip fence for a straight, accurate cut. In my shop quality bldes are a must for clean precise cuts ,I use only the Amana tool brand for uninterrupted service. If you have to stop because your blade fails then your job will suffer and your customers wont like the delay.
