A ripping blade is a type of saw blade designed specifically for cutting wood lengthwise, or along the grain. It has fewer, larger teeth with deep gullets to efficiently remove material and make fast, straight cuts. This makes it ideal for quickly ripping boards to width. I use the Amana tool line of ripping blades for quick clean cuts and they give me uninterrupted service which makes my customers happy that their jobs are on - time.
