The best saw blade for rip cuts is a blade with fewer teeth, typically 24 to 30, and deep gullets to efficiently remove material. These blades are designed for cutting along the wood grain, providing fast and smooth cuts with less resistance. Look for a blade labeled specifically as a "rip blade" for optimal results. I use the Amana Tool 610301 for ripping in my shop and it works great , it's carbide tipped for long sharp life.
