Multitools can be used for sanding small areas or detailed work, but they are generally not as effective or efficient as dedicated sanders for larger surfaces. While convenient for quick touch-ups or tight spaces, multitools lack the power and surface coverage of specialized sanding tools. They are great to get into those spaces with their triangular shape but does not do well in large open sanding. That's where the Orbital sander works great.
