You should not put plywood on a jointer. Plywood is made of thin layers of wood glued together, and the jointer's knives can cause the layers to separate or chip, ruining the material and potentially damaging the machine. Plywood is a destructive thing when it comes to a jointer and the blades inside , you will destroy you blades and possible throw your machine out of balance.
