No, you should not cut steel with a non-ferrous blade. Non-ferrous blades are designed for softer metals like aluminum, copper, or brass and can become damaged or worn out quickly if used on hard materials like steel. Always use a blade specifically rated for cutting steel to ensure safety and effectiveness. In my shop the rule is you misuse a tool and damage it .. You pay for it's replacement.
