The best CNC bit for engraving is typically a V-bit or engraving bit, as its pointed tip allows for precise and detailed work on various materials. For fine lines and intricate designs, a 30° or 60° V-bit is commonly used. The ideal choice may vary depending on the material and the desired engraving depth. The key to a great carve is to use a quality bit , in my shop I use the Amana tools brand bits and haven't had a problem yet with them.
