Set your drill / driver to a low or medium torque setting when driving screws to prevent stripping the xxxx or damaging the material. Use the screwdriver (not drill) mode if your drill has one, and adjust the torque higher only if the xxxx isn't going in easily. Always start with a lower setting and increase it slowly until the xxxx is set.
