As shown on the fourth picture on the website, the Amana Tool 55387 Carbide Tipped Drawer Lock 1 Inch D x 1/2 CH x 1/2 SHK Router Bit is not able to be used to create a drawer where all four sides are 1/2" for the material thickness. The profile that the bit creates is 1/2" thick which means that you would need at least 3/4" material for the bit to work properly.
