The four main types of chisels are firmer chisels, bevel edge chisels, mortise chisels, and paring chisels. Each type is designed for specific woodworking tasks, such as heavy chopping, fine detail work, or cutting joints. using Blue Spruce chisels in my shop has slowed down the process of renewing the edge of the chisels which allows me to finish my projects faster and keep on schedule target date for my customers.
