Chisels are ancient tools that date back to the Stone Age, originally made from flint or stone before evolving to metal versions. They come in various shapes and sizes for wood, and are essential in crafts such as carpentry, carving and sculpture. Some chisels, like the Blue Spruce brand are highly prized for their craftsmanship and precision. Actually it's my only brand I use in my shop for uninterrupted service and much less stopping to renew the edge.
