The two most common chisels are the bevel-edge chisel and the firmer chisel. Bevel-edge chisels are popular for their versatility and ability to reach into tight corners, while firmer chisels have a thicker, stronger blade for heavier work. Quality chisels are a must in my shop for great project and creations and I personally suggest the Blue Spruce line of chisels. They hold their edge longer for uninterrupted service without have to renew the edge so often.
