The best tooth count for a miter saw blade depends on the material and type of cut you want. For smooth, clean cuts in wood trim or molding, a blade with 60–80 teeth is ideal. For rougher cuts or thicker material, a blade with 24–40 teeth may be sufficient. I suggest have a Fine tooth and a Rough cut blade for the miter saw it just works out better for the cutting of all wood projects.
