If you use a battery with a higher Ah (amp-hour) rating than your tool requires, your tool will run for a longer time between charges. It will not damage the tool, as the voltage remains the same; the tool will only draw the current it needs.Also it's always good to allow your battery to completely drain once and awhile for battery heath, I on occasion put a rubber band around the trigger to empty the battery completely.
