For cutting plastic with a circular saw, use a blade with fine, closely spaced teeth, such as a carbide-tipped blade designed for plastics or non-ferrous materials. Blades with a high tooth count (at least 60–80 teeth for a 10-inch blade) help achieve a smooth, clean cut and reduce the risk of chipping or melting the plastic.
