For drilling plastic, use a drill bit specifically designed for plastics, such as a brad point (spur) bit or a standard twist bit with a sharpened tip. Avoid using bits meant for metal or masonry, as they can crack or melt the plastic. Drilling at a slow speed also helps prevent damage. I use the AMANA Tool brand for all my blades and bits , they have special drill bits for use in drilling in plastic .
