butcher block countertop undermount sink cut out

Templet on top, is this the right bit using a jigsaw first or should I go with a bottom bearing with templet on bottom this is my first time doing this.

If your template is on top, you would need this part Amana Tool 45366 Carbide Tipped Flush Trim Plunge Template 3/4 D x 2 CH x 1/2 Inch SHK w/ Upper Ball Bearing 2 Flute Router Bit to do the job as the bearing is on the top. If the template is on the bottom, you would need a different bit like SKU: #57186 to ride along the template on the bottom.
