Longer bits, like the Amana Tool 48462 at 4 inches, allow you to cut deeper into thick or stacked materials, while shorter bits provide greater control and reduced vibration. Choosing the proper overall length is essential for safety and effectiveness. There are multiple options available, ensuring you can select the ideal length for your project. In my shop I use the Amana Tool line of bits and they haven't failed me yet.
