XFasten tape is designed to provide strong adhesion and can typically last for several years when used indoors under normal conditions. However, its durability may be affected by factors such as exposure to moisture, temperature changes, and the type of surface it is applied to as all the adhesives do. For best results, follow the manufacturer's guidelines for application and storage. I personally use the XFasten tape in my shop for template routing and CNC hold down of my projects.
