No, SawStop is not owned by Festool. SawStop is owned by TTS Tooltechnic Systems, which is also the parent company of Festool, but the two are separate brands under the same corporate umbrella. SawStop is a privately owned company based in Tualatin, Oregon, just south of Portland.
