The most common risk with a SawStop table saw and any saw on the market is kickback, where the wood is thrown back toward the operator due to improper feeding or binding. While the SawStop system greatly reduces the risk of serious blade contact injuries, it does not eliminate risks like kickback or flying debris. Proper safety practices like wood push sticks and the Micrjig Gripper are still essential when using the saw. Never stand directly in line with the blade , always stand to the left of it , out of the line of the possible dierction of the kick back.
