To clean a CNC router, first power off the machine and use a vacuum or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the work area, rails, and electronics. Wipe down surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth of light oil, and regularly check and lubricate moving parts as recommended by the manufacturer. My maintenance is constant every time after I run my CNC I blow out all the motors and rails with compressed air so as not to build up heat in them and give everything a quick wipe with a clean cloth . Major maintenance happens at interval
