The Axiom Dust Shoe - AR4/6/8 Basic, Pro & Elite - ADS220 is designed for Axiom's 80mm spindles and does fit Axiom Pro and Elite models, so it should fit your older Axiom AR8 ProV5 if it uses one of those standard 80mm or 3.5" Axiom spindles.
