To cut melamine without chipping the edges, use a Quality fine-toothed saw blade, such as an 80-tooth or higher carbide-tipped blade, and place painter’s tape along the cut line to help prevent chipping. Cutting slowly and supporting the melamine sheet firmly will also result in cleaner edges. Using the best Quality saw blade will make the cut clean and precise.
