To cut melamine, use a carbide-tipped saw blade with a high tooth count, such as an 80-tooth or higher blade designed for fine crosscuts or laminates. A blade with alternate top bevel (ATB) or triple chip grind (TCG) teeth produces cleaner cuts and reduces chipping. Always use slow, steady feed rates for best results.
