Yes, you can use Starbond without the accelerator. The glue will still bond, but it will take longer to cure naturally—usually a few minutes instead of instantly. The accelerator is only needed if you want to speed up the curing process as in an immediate hold .
Starbond can also be used with Titebond to hold a work piece instantly while the Titebond hardens permanently.
Just add a few drops of Starbond and circle it with Titebond ,spray the Accelerator and join the pieces together.
