To use a rounding over router bit, install the bit in your router and adjust the cutting depth so the bearing rides along the edge of your workpiece. Move the router steadily along the edge, keeping the base flat and the bit’s bearing flush against the wood to create a smooth, rounded profile. Always work in the direction against the bit’s rotation for better control.
