A Quality orbital sander makes your project come out much better . Random orbital sanders are generally considered the most versatile and effective for most woodworking and finishing tasks because they combine orbital and rotational motion, reducing swirl marks. For detail work or tight spaces, a palm or detail sander might be better suited.
