To use a routing bit, first make sure the router is unplugged from the outlet , slide your bit to the selected depth and securely tighten the router’s collet . Adjust the cutting depth, then guide the router smoothly along your workpiece, keeping firm control and moving steadily. Always wear safety gear and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Never force the router through the cut and if you see smoke you probably have a dull bit that will hamper your creation.
