This trim router produced by Carbide 3D was made specifically for use with the Shapeoko line of benchtop CNC routers. Other offerings for routers include accessories that are not required for use on a machine like the Shapeoko, and so Carbide has created this product without any unneeded components. You get the router, 0.25" (1/4") collet and two sets of replacement brushes. With an RPM range of 12,000 to 30,000, your CNC machine can carve with a wide variety of materials from wood to soft metals. An extra-long 12 foot power cable makes wiring easy even on the Shapeoko XXL. For smaller bits with 0.125" (1/8") shanks a Precision Collet set is also available as an addon.
