This s what we got from Carbide 3D:
Completely unknown. This would depend on the plywood. Standard plywood? Baltic Britch, furniture grade, marine grade, aircraft grade?
These have typically installed in MDF in the applications we have seen 3/4 and 1/2. If they are pulling out you would need to use more to overcome the pull out.
In theory is one wanted 3/8 ply you could laminate it to MDF first.
This would also be different based on int type of bit upcut or down cut.
The best way to know would be to experiment.
