will this saw (md10-500r) cut a flat bottom groove the width of the kerf.....not a kerf with a ridge in the middle

MD10-500R will not allow you to a achieve a flat bottom groove.
Only a saw blade with a Flat Tooth grind can cut a flat bottom groove.
