Is this knife tangential and suitable for cutting EVA foam boat flooring?

Is this knife tangential? I am considering this tool for cutting out EVA foam boat flooring, is this appropriate for this use case? Thanks!

Dear Christian,
This is not a tangential knife as tangential knives are designed with vertical movement whereas this is a drag knife but this type of knife is easily able to cut through EVA foam :)
