Does a Festool chop saw automatically start the vacuum when the saw runs (after ~10 seconds)?

How does it work with the Festool chop saw? I thought it was suppose to start when you start the saw, if you connect it to the vacuum and run for 10 seconds?

For the CT 15 to turn on you just need to have the tool itself plugged into the socket on the front of the vacuum, then the tool should turn the vacuum on when the tool is turned on. If this is what you are doing it may be best for you to call our applications department 888-337-8600 and Festool will talk you through it , something else may be going on
