Drilling center of extremely hard, fragile 2-million-year-old coronoid fossils — diamond bits wear out Amana Tool 204009 Carbide Tipped Brad Point Boring Bit R/H 3/8 D x 70mm Long x 10mm SHK

Looking for a bit that can drill the center of coronoid ( 2 million year old fossils,) they are very hard yet fragile. Diamond tipped bits wear out too quickly

Dear Rich,

In this instance, carbide tipped would wear out quicker than a diamond tip. The best tip material we have is PCD but not in Brad Point bits unfortunately.
