Use 2‑1/8" cutter on 1‑3/4" exterior door — will the face-to-radius recess be reduced?
Stile & Rail Shaper Cutter Sets for 2-1/8 Inch Material - Exterior Door
Can I use this cutter to make a 1 3/4" exterior door although the cutter height is 2 1/8"? I assume it would be ok to do this, the result would be the recess from the door face to the beginning of the radius cut would be reduced slightly, Is my assumption correct?

Dear Paul,
This cutter is designed for 2-1/8" material. Using this on lesser material will have to lose some of the profile.
